Certification Requirements

Hardware and Materials

  • F123 or higher-end Stratasys FDM system
  • Must be knowledgeable and engage with 3D printing technology.
  • Pay for T&E to attend in-person training at a certified knowledge transfer site.
  • Pass NOCTI certification exam.

 

  • NOCTI exam fee ($30/student)
  • GrabCAD Print Software
  • 3D design software
  • Exam prep with host institution + proctored exam

Interested in becoming a Certified Site?

Additive plays a key role across industries, but there is a widening gap between the technology and the number of skilled workers who can drive it. As a certification institution, you will prepare the workforce of tomorrow by offering a professional proficiency credential in additive manufacturing technologies, industries and applications, FDM and PolyJet materials, key technology specifications, design considerations from CAD to CAM, fabrication considerations and post-processing methods.

Requirement: EDU FDM Certification Knowledge Transfer Course

Overall Goal: To transfer knowledge, learning materials and prepare certification examinees for the FDM Certification exam. This level of certification asks examinees to demonstrate mastery of the basics of FDM 3DP technology, software, design, materials, applications and benefits of using Stratasys technology in order to earn the industry credential of “Stratasys Certified” and be workforce ready.
